This weekend I had the pleasure of being a panelist at the Kinky Texture Mixer. The KTM is a new social event in the Hampton Roads area that showcases local natural hair care professional as well as natural hair care companies. Hosted by Johnene Benson. It didn't seem like an event, rather a gathering of women who felt like they knew each other for more than a couple of hours. Attendees where educated by owner of Its Your Hair Company Shawne Morgan and professional stylist Karen Wilson, along side yours truly giving tips on this summers hair & fashion trends.
