Denim fever...

I hope everyone had a blessed Easter. The weather was on our side this weekend, mother nature is finally being kind to us. The beginning of spring is always a special time of year. Flowers and trees start to show signs of life, more people are out enjoying the beautiful weather. I figured this would be the perfect weather to rock my denim button up  from Old Navy.

There is something about denim that can just jazz up even the most mundane of looks. This top from Old Navy is extremely comfortable and is a very versatile piece. I think every stylista should have some denim in her wardrobe.

Style Stalking: Thera

I know everyone is glad to be at the end of a long work week, I know I am at least. With the closing of another week brings my favorite edition, STYLE STALK. If you guys are new to my blog, style stalk is an inspirational post I do each Friday featuring fashionistas just like you. I love to be inspired by everyone's style, so I thought why not share the wealth. Thera not only shares her personal style, she offers her motivation and dedication to making sure everyone woman no matter their size feel beautiful.

1. When did you fall in love with fashion?

 My love affair with fashion has always been intertwined with self love and acceptance. I always strive to put my best foot forward and show tall curvy woman can look glamorous, confidant and chic. Although my "fashion" or style is always evolving, it will always be a display that outer beauty can and will match inner beauty.

 2. Who/What are your fashion inspirations?

 That's the hardest question I'm asked. The one and only Coco Chanel is a timeless fashion inspiration. She is a true style maven and will always be respected and adored. 

I look up to women who dress unapologetically. Who are not slaves to fashion rules or trends. Who wear what makes them feel special and beautiful. 

3. How would you describe your style?

 I don't believe I fit into a specific style box. There are days I feel best in simple head to toe black and other days I will be adorned in 5 different patterns and colour combinations. Fashion should be fun. Fashion should reflect how you feel. 

At the moment my staple piece I can't leave the house without is a statement necklace. I'm completely obsessed and feel bare without one. It's a great accessory to add to any outfit for any occasion
